Paasonen Law Offices
Paasonen Law Offices was established in 1992. Our fields of
expertise include agreements, trials, corporate legal issues among others.
We provide services for both companies and individual clients. We are able to serve clients fluently in English, and in addition provide some services in German and Swedish.
Our mission is to provide reliable, confidential and prompt
services to our clients.
The law firm is run by Mr. Pekka Paasonen. Mr. Paasonen graduated from the University of Helsinki in 1990, and is qualified to work as a judge in court (trained at the bench). Furthermore Paasonen has achieved an MBA degree from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration.
Mr. Paasonen has also worked as a lawyer of Finland Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Paasonen co-operates with several companies' and trust funds' as either chairman, member of the board or as an advisor as well as a partner.
The first negotiation by telephone is
free of charge. Our regular hourly fee ranges from 170,00 to 250,00 euro per hour (excluding 23 % VAT). The fee depends e.g. on the complexity of the case, amount of monetary value, urgency or other similar causes. Success based fee is seldom applied.
In addition to the fee we charge direct costs related to the case,
such as protocol fees, travelling costs and substantial copy and postage costs.
Companies outside Finland and private people outside EU are usually exempt from paying VAT.
A retainer
is most often required from a new client.
